Salted Mint Watermelon Margaritas

Alright, you guys know I love everything tequila when it comes to summertime, and this new combo hit the freaking spot! Joe’s family came over for our weekly dinner and I was in charge of making the drinks so I decided to get creative. I am currently addicted to watermelon, so I figured why not include it in there? I love watermelon & mint salads, so why not combine them into a drink as well. These are so insanely easy to make and super delicious! Salted Mint Watermelon Margaritas

Your new summer cocktail!

Ingredients:

For the Drink
  • Watermelon (1 cup)
  • Lime juice (1 lime)
  • Mint leaves (4)
  • Tequila (2 cups)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Club Soda (4-5 cups)
For Garnish
  • Mint leaves (5)
  • Watermelon (1/4 cup)

Instructions:

  1. Add 1 cup of watermelon, juice of 1 lime, 1 teaspoon of salt, 4 mint leaves, and 2 cups of tequila to a blender
  2. Blend on high until the watermelon has blended and the mixture is a smooth liquid consistency
  3. Fill a cup with ice and pour in this mixture to fill 2/3 of the glass
  4. Finish the last 1/3 of the glass with club soda
  5. Garnish each glass with 1 mint leave and a sliver of watermelon
