Accommodations: I stayed at a friend’s apartment in Hayes Valley and don’t have recommendations, sorry!

Restaurants

Spots I went & loved:

  • Souvla – I highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner. Incredible rotisserie lamb, pork, or chicken that can go in a gyro or on a salad. They also have insane greek yogurt soft serve. Go!

  • RT Rottiserie -  a great fast/casual option with good rotisserie chicken and vegetable sides

  • Salt & Straw – an SF staple

  • Jane on Filmore – I could’ve eaten every meal here, the menu was ridiculous. Loved it all, highly recommend!

  • Little Gem – a dairy, gluten, and sugar free health-focused restaurant. Wasn’t the best food in SF but is a good lunch option

  • The Mill – an SF staple with great bread and a menu of toppings (almond butter, avocado, jelly, etc). I went for dinner and had their pizza, which they start serving at 6:00PM – very good!

  • Bi-Rite Cremery – my favorite ice cream I’ve had not in NYC. Got the roasted banana & malted vanilla; highly recommend

  • Plow – great farm to table restaurant with delicious breakfast. I loved the almond flour pancakes. Can have long lines so go early

Places to Explore:

  • Lands End: hiked from ~ 7:30AM-9:00AM. Great spot for nature walks that aren’t difficult but have beautiful views

  • Alamo Park

  • Pacific Heights: a ton of cute shops on Filmore Street

Workouts:

  • Core40 – I loved this workout, it was a slower version of SLT
